The 2019 Granville Green summer concert series kicks off Sunday night.
It’s the 25th year for the free outdoor concert series.
Wintersleep starts the season; Villages is the opening act.
Paula Davis, the Town of Port Hawkesbury’s marketing director, tells The Hawk Wintersleep is no stranger to the area.
“We’ve had Wintersleep at the bandshell before, and it’s one of everybody’s favourites,” she says. “They just released a new album, which is doing really, really well.”
The show gets underway at 7 p.m.
Ria Mae takes the stage July 14; the summer line-up also includes Matt Mays, The Joel Plaskett Emergency and Tim Baker, with the East Pointers wrapping up the concert series Aug. 11.
