Great white shark pinged off coast of Yarmouth

A great white shark has been tracked just off southwest Nova Scotia.

According to OCEARCH, a nearly 600 pound juvenile shark named ‘Keji’ was pinged around Lurcher Shoal off the coast of Yarmouth Monday afternoon.

The shark is nine feet, seven inches long.

Reports of great whites visiting our waters are up in recent years.

Last year, a dog was reportedly killed by a shark in Port Medway.
