We’re heading into the hottest stretch of the year so far.
Forecasters with Environment Canada issued a special weather statement Wednesday; they upgraded it to a heat warning later in the day.
Maximum temperatures across the Quad Counties will reach between 30 and 35- with a humidex between 34 and 39- Thursday and Friday.
Thursday night’s low will only dip between 17 and 20.
More seasonable temperatures are expected on the weekend, but highs on some days in parts of the region could still hit 30.
