N.S. Premier continues tariff talks in U.S.

Nova Scotia’s Premier is continuing talks in the U.S.

Tim Houston will host roundtables in New York to discuss the impact of tariffs.

He will also speak at the Seafood Expo North America in Boston, which is North America’s largest seafood conference.

In a release, the Premier says we have to diversify our economy and go where the buyers are, and the province has a lot to offer.

He adds they want to increase trade opportunities and put an end to Donald Trump’s unlawful tariffs.

Nova Scotia removed all American liquor from NSLC stores and doubled the fee for U.S. commercial vehicles at the Cobequid Pass in response.
