A man arrested in relation to a drug bust in Inverness Co. is expected back in court Wednesday.
Police say officers seized cocaine and drug paraphernalia when they searched a home in Melville June 8.
They say Steven Leslie MacEachern, 25, has been charged with possessing cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and a breach; he was released from custody following a bail hearing three days later.
He’s scheduled for an election-and-plea hearing in Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court.
MacEachern entered a guilty plea to possession of equipment to assist in the trafficking of cocaine in relation to an April 2018 bust in Sugar Camp; he’s scheduled to make his first appearance in Wellness Court in that case Thursday.
He was sentenced to two years in prison after he pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking in relation to a Feb. 2012 bust in Port Hawkesbury.
