Inverness gets healthcare recruitment funding

New ideas to attract healthcare professionals to Inverness.

The province is funding $88,000 toward community-led projects.

They include a recruitment website, awards and recognition celebrations, school career fairs and a strategic plan.

It’s to help the municipality with recruitment efforts.

CAO Keith MacDonald says they have much work to do to show healthcare works what a great life they can build in Cape Breton.
