Officials in the StFX athletics department have named their latest football players of the week.
Michael Forsey, a receiver with the X-Men, is the offensive player of the week after he scored a 24-yard fourth-quarter touchdown, the first of his AUS career, in Saturday’s 32-19 loss to Bishop’s in Quebec; he also had a 26-yard reception for 50 total yards.
Alex Fedchun earned defensive honours for the second week in a row; the defensive lineman recorded 10 tackles- eight solo and four assisted- and a pair of sacks for a combined loss of six yards.
Defensive back Liam Wilde won the special teams award after he had three solo tackles and four assisted tackles.
