Police are investigating mischief involving lobster traps in Richmond Co.
They say 40 lobster traps were cut from their buoys in the waters off Petit-de-Grat between 5 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.
RCMP say the total loss of the traps, which could not be recovered, and the catch they contained is roughly $10,000.
They say they’ve identified a person of interest.
