Local dance group partners with professional Halifax basketball team

Exciting opportunities keep popping up for a Nova Scotia dance group.

Studio 26 Dance Company has become the official dance team for the Halifax Hoopers.

The Hoopers are Halifax’s professional basketball team and say they are excited to welcome Studio 26.

“As Atlantic Canada’s most diverse dance school they bring culture, energy and community in everything they do.”

The dance group will also be seen on this season of Canada’s Got Talent, which premiered March 18.


  • Caitlin Snow is a multi-award-winning news anchor and reporter who started in the radio business 20 years ago. Roles included working in a helicopter delivering up to date traffic and news in Alberta.
