Local gas station employee tests negative for COVID-19

A worker at a gas station in the Quad Counties has tested negative for the coronavirus.

The Ultramar on Reeves St. in Port Hawkesbury shut down for a full cleaning and disinfection; it re-opened Tuesday morning.

A company spokesperson said the employee was in self-isolation while they waited for their test results.

A rep for the location says those results have come back negative.
