It’s the second game in the four-game season series; the Pirates won the season opener between the teams in Membertou 4-3 in September.

The X-Men (9-2-1), who had a bye through the quarterfinals, finished the regular season second in the 10-team conference with 28 points; the Panthers (5-5-2), who beat UNB in the quarterfinals Thursday, finished with 17 points.
The teams met once during the regular season- StFX shutout UPEI 2-0 at home in the season opener for both teams in September.

The winner advances to the conference final Sunday afternoon; the loser is eliminated.
The StFX women’s rugby team starts play in the consolation bracket of the 2019 U Sports Women’s Rugby Championship in Ottawa.
The X-Women, who lost to Guelph in the quarterfinals Wednesday afternoon, take on the UBC Thunderbirds, who lost to Laval in their quarterfinal.
The X-Women defeated the Thunderbirds 26-24
That means they’ll play in Sunday’s fifth-place game.
