The Dr. J.H. Gillis Royals travel to Trenton to take on the North Nova Gryphons in the Northern Nova Scotia High School Hockey League.
The Royals (3-3-2), who have lost back-to-back regular season games and are winless in three of their last four, sit third in the five-team league with 10 points, four points behind Hants East for second, and three points ahead of fourth-place CEC; the Gryphons (2-6-0) are last with six points.
The teams have met once so far in their four-game season series- Dr. J.H. Gillis defeated North Nova 7-2 in their season opener in Antigonish in October.
Game time is 7 p.m.
The Dalbrae Dragons visit the Inverness-Baddeck Academy Rebels in the Cape Breton West High School Hockey League.
The Dragons (6-0-2), who have yet to lose in regulation in their first eight regular season games, are second in the five-team league with 19 points, four points behind SAERC for top spot, and five points ahead of third-place Richmond Academy.
The Rebels (1-7-0), with one win in their first eight games, are last with three points, a point back of Eskasoni for fourth.
Puck drop at the Dr. Bernie MacLean Cultural and Recreation Centre in Inverness is 7:30 p.m.
The two games are the final match-ups in both leagues until the new year.
