It’s a light night on the local sports schedule.
There’s just one game- the Richmond Academy Hurricanes host the Eskasoni Warriors in the Cape Breton West High School Hockey League.
The teams are at the bottom of the standings in the five-team league- the Hurricanes (2-1-1) are fourth with seven points, four points up on the last-place Warriors (1-3-0).
Eskasoni is playing the second of back-to-back games- they’re coming off their first win of the 2018-19 season, edging Dalbrae 3-2 at home Wednesday night.
It’s the first game of the season between the teams.
Puck drop at the Richmond Arena in Louisdale is 7:30 p.m.
