The Highlanders (5-6-0), who have lost back-to-back games, are fifth in the eight-team league with 10 points, two points behind the Kings for fourth, and three points ahead of the sixth-place Voyageurs; the Jets (1-10-1), with one regulation win on the season, are last with three points.
It’s the first game of the season between the teams.
