The Dalbrae Dragons visit the Richmond Academy Hurricanes in the Cape Breton West High School Hockey League.
The Dragons (11-0-2), who have yet to lose in regulation during the 2019-20 regular season, are in top spot in the five-team league with 34 points, two points up on second-place SAERC; the Hurricanes (6-4-1), who have one win in their last four, are third with 17 points, 15 points behind SAERC for second, and 13 points ahead of fourth-place Eskasoni.
It’s the fourth and final regular season game between the teams; Dalbrae has won two of the first three.
Puck drop at the Richmond Arena in Louisdale is 7:30 p.m.
It’s the first of three games in as many nights for Richmond Academy, who visit Eskasoni Wednesday night, then host SAERC Thursday night.
The Halifax Mooseheads have a Maritimes Division match-up in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
They host the Charlottetown Islanders.
The Mooseheads (18-26-3), losers of three straight and five of their last six, are ninth in the 10-team Eastern Conference with 39 points, five points behind Quebec for eighth, and 14 points ahead of last-place Acadie-Bathurst; the Islanders (25-21-5) are fifth in the East with 55 points.
Charlottetown leads the nine-game season series between the teams 5-2.
