There’s just one game on the local sports schedule.
It’s in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
The Halifax Mooseheads travel to PEI to play the Charlottetown Islanders.
The Mooseheads (19-38-5), who have lost eight straight and 20 of the last 21, are second-last in the 10-team Eastern Conference- and the entire 18-team league- with 43 points, seven points up on last-place Acadie-Bathurst; the Islanders (33-25-5) are fifth in the East with 71 points.
It’s the ninth and final regular season game between the Maritimes Division opponents; Charlottetown has already clinched the season series, with a 6-2 lead through the first eight games.
Game time is 7 p.m.
