There’s one game on the local sports schedule.
The Cape Breton Eagles host the Charlottetown Islanders in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
The Eagles (7-3-0), who have one win in their last three, are in a four-way tie with Halifax, Moncton and Rimouski for third in the 10-team Eastern Conference with 14 points, two points back of the Islanders (7-1-2) and Quebec, who are tied for top spot, and a point ahead of seventh-place Chicoutimi.
It’s the first of nine regular season games between the Maritimes Division teams.
Puck drop at Centre 200 in Sydney is 7 p.m.
