There are a pair of high school hockey games on the schedule.
The SAERC Saints host the Richmond Academy Hurricanes in the Cape Breton West High School Hockey League.
The Saints (3-0-1), who have yet to lose in regulation through their first four regular season games, are in top spot in the three-team league with 10 points, five points up on second-place Dalbrae; the Hurricanes (1-2-0), who have lost two of their first three, are last with three points, two points back of Dalbrae for second.
It’s the second regular season game between the teams; SAERC won the first 3-1 in Louisdale Feb. 4.
Puck drop at the Port Hawkesbury Civic Centre is 7 p.m.
The Dr. J.H. Gillis Royals host the CEC Cougars in the Northern Nova Scotia High School Hockey League.
The Royals (3-5-1), winless in three and four of the last five, are last in the five-team league with eight points, three-and-a-half points behind Hants East for fourth; the Cougars (5-3-2) are second with 18 points.
The teams have split the first two games in the season series.
Puck drop at the Antigonish Arena is 6:30 p.m.
Antigonish’s Adam Tkacz and the Halifax Mooseheads visit River Denys’ Colten Ellis, Antigonish’s Sean Stewart and the Charlottetown Islanders in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
The Mooseheads (8-11-5), losers of back-to-back games and four of their last five, are second in the six-team Maritimes Division with 21 points, 13 points behind the Islanders (17-4-0) for top spot, and a point ahead of Cape Breton and Acadie-Bathurst, who are tied for third.
Charlottetown leads the season series 6-2 after a 3-0 win in Halifax Saturday afternoon.
Game time is 7 p.m.
The teams meet again in Charlottetown Friday night.
