Officials with the provincial government have announced funding for two local community transit organizations.
Antigonish Community Transit and Strait Area Transit are receiving grants from the Public Transit Assistance Program, which is providing $2.9 million in total to seven transit organizations in the province.
The Nova Scotia Transit Research Incentive Program is giving $245,000 in funding to 13 groups, including Antigonish Community Transit.
