Funding for rink repairs in Mabou.
MLA Allan MacMaster announced the Mabou District and Athletic Club will get over $89,000 from the province.
It’s for roof and window repairs at the arena, as well as electrical upgrades.
The building is 53 years old.
MacMaster says the rink holds a lot of memories, and this investment will protect the investment the community made all those years ago.
The popular Mabou Farmers Market is also held there on Sundays during the summer months.
