Firefighters responded to an Inverness Co. house fire.
The fire on Little Mabou Rd. in West Mabou was reported just before 9 a.m. Tuesday.
Lloyd Campbell, the chief of the Mabou Volunteer Fire Department, says members of his department and the Port Hood Volunteer Fire Department were on scene for an hour or so.
Campbell tells The Hawk no one was inside the home when they arrived.
He says there is significant smoke and fire damage to the building.
