MacLellan finds another new QMJHL home

A hockey player from Antigonish Co. has his third Quebec Major Junior Hockey League home in as many months.

The Acadie-Bathurst Titan have traded defenceman Ryan MacLellan to the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies for an eighth-round draft pick.

The Memorial Cup champs acquired MacLellan, a Beaver Meadow native, and a first-and-second-round pick from the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles for Sydney’s Mitchell Balmas in June.

He split the 2017-18 season between Cape Breton and the South Shore Lumberjacks in the Maritime Hockey League.
