Man airlifted to hospital following Richmond Co. crash

A single-vehicle crash in Richmond Co. crash has sent one person to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

RCMP say it happened on Hwy. 4 in Lynches River at roughly 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.

They say a man, 28, driving an SUV couldn’t make a turn, left the road, hit a power pole and ended up in the ditch.

Police say he was airlifted to hospital; his passenger, 15, wasn’t hurt.
