Man arrested after another found not breathing on the roadside in Guysborough Co.

Officers responded to a call about an unconscious man laying on the side of Fishermans Harbour Rd. in Fishermans Harbour Wednesday at 6:50 p.m.

Police say the 31-year-old Port Bickerton man was unconscious and not breathing.

A 46-year-old Fishermans Harbour man was administering first aid, and an RCMP officer started CPR.

The man was revived, and then taken to hospital by EHS when they arrived a short time later.

Police say the victim was in an altercation with a 29-year-old Port Hastings man at a home in the community before he was found.

Officers arrested that man at a Port Bickerton home.
