Man arrested in Antigonish Co. traffic stop completes Restorative Justice, has charge withdrawn

A suspect charged following a traffic stop in Antigonish Co. has completed Restorative Justice.

Jeremy Raymond Paul, 29, had originally been charged with possession of marijuana in relation to an August bust on Afton Rd.

Paul’s case was referred to the province’s Restorative Justice Program in November; he completed it following a status update in Antigonish Provincial Court Wednesday.

The Crown withdrew his charge.

Police say they found a large amount of marijuana, hash oil and drug paraphernalia during the stop.
