One of two people charged in relation to a drug bust in Inverness Co. is scheduled to return to court in May.
RCMP say Inverness officers and members of the Inverness-Richmond District Street Crime Enforcement Unit searched a home on Celtic Dr. in Inverness Saturday.
They say they seized cocaine, cutting agent, cash and drug paraphernalia.
Police say two people from Inverness have been charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of equipment used to assist with trafficking cocaine, and unsafe storage of ammunition.
Terrance Anthony Harper, 23, made his first appearance in the case in Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court Monday; he’s expected back for an election-and-plea hearing May 21.
Janelle Anne Larade, 19, who wasn’t in court Monday, is scheduled to appear the same day as Harper.
