Man charged in Whycocomagh cocaine bust has case adjourned

A suspect in an Inverness Co. drug bust is scheduled to return to court in August.

Police say officers stopped a vehicle on Hwy. 105 in Whycocomagh in April.

They say they searched the vehicle and found cocaine.

Michael Warren Ryan, 27, of Port Hawkesbury has been charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.

Ryan was scheduled for an arraignment hearing in Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court Monday; he’s expected back in court Aug. 19.
