A 47-year-old man has life-threatening injuries after a flight from police on Highway 4.
Pictou County District RCMP say it happened Wednesday night after several reports of a suspected impaired driver who might have a gun.
The man in a truck was driving erratically on the highway and pulled into a carpool lot off Exit 27.
When police arrived, they sped away until the truck was found on its roof in the ditch.
The driver was taken to hospital, and a gun was taken in by police.
The investigation is ongoing.
