Man reported missing from Cape Breton emergency department

A 38-year-old man has been reported missing from the emergency department of a Cape Breton hospital, and Nova Scotia Health is asking for the public’s help in locating him.

Officials say Hector Anthony LeBlanc was last seen at approximately 11:15 a.m. on Monday, wearing a black jacket, a white hoodie, and checkered pajama pants. Witnesses reported seeing him board a transit bus outside the hospital shortly after.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is urged to contact police.
