U Sports has released their athletes of the week.
X-Men hockey goalie Chase Marchand was named the U Sports Male Athlete of the Week.
Marchand led the X-Men to a 2-1 series win over Acadia in the AUS quarterfinals.
In the first game of the series he had 34 saves in a 5-0 shutout victory.
On the road in an overtime loss he made 54 saves.
Marchand followed up with a 41-save performance in a 4-1 win in game three.
