MLA Michelle Thompson Year in Review

Health Minister and MLA for Antigonish Michelle Thompson is really pleased with the work conducted in her riding in 2022.

Some of the highlights include investments made for community transit, the local arena, and community centres and trails.

“I am also proud of the work we’ve done with public works.” Says Thompson. “We’re working really hard with public works to improve the quality of our roads and make sure we have road maintenance.”

Thompson says there are a number of plans that will be announced later on, but healthcare remains the top priority.

In the new year, Thompson and the provincial government will work to ensure that residents in the riding have access to the healthcare they need. This work will also involve looking for replacements for doctors and other healthcare workers that are planning to retire.
