A pair of local anti-racism events take place Saturday.
A community rally against racism will be held at the Mabou Arena at 2 p.m.
Organizers say participants will hear from African Nova Scotian and Mi’kmaq leaders.
Meanwhile, a Black Lives Matter rally and march takes place outside the Port Hawkesbury Provincial Building at 7 p.m.
It starts with music and speeches, then a march on Reeves St. to Reynolds St., and back to the original site.
Organizers for both events say participants are asked to physically distance and wear masks.
Thousands marched through the streets of Antigonish as part of a Black Lives Matter event in the town June 6.
