Officials with the Nova Scotia Health Authority have announced more local emergency room closures.
The ER at the Victoria Co. Memorial Hospital in Baddeck will shut down from 6 p.m. until 8 a.m. Friday, Sunday and Thursday.
The Strait Richmond Hospital’s emergency room in Evanston will close from 6 a.m. until 8 a.m. Saturday and Wednesday.
A lack of physician coverage is the reason for the closures.
You’re asked to go to another emergency room or call 911 with a medical emergency; you can call 811 for any non-urgent issues.
