Mulgrave town councillors say they want a traffic light at a busy intersection in the area.
Mayor Ralph Hadley says with the construction about to start on the Big Stop in Aulds Cove it’s going to add to the already busy intersection off the 104.
After last night’s regular council meeting Hadley said the intersection already has issues.
“There’s going to be quite a bottle neck there for traffic and we’re hoping that the Department of Transportation takes this into consideration of looking at that,” he says. “People coming out of Mulgrave and People coming into Mulgrave, sometimes it’s very hard to get out of there with the construction and vehicles coming and going.”
Hadley said the fate of the Mulgrave NSLC is unknown because of the addition of a liquor store to the Big Stop.
