A stretch of road between Cheticamp and Inverness is getting some much-needed attention.
MLA and Deputy Allan MacMaster announced today that a paving tender has been awarded for 3.3km along Route 219 at Dunvegan.
It’s part of a project to repave the entirety of Route 219, which MacMaster said will take a few years to complete.
Local asphalt company Northern Construction was awarded the tender and will tackle the project. Their expected to complete the 3.3km stretch by the fall.
