Police say they’ve wrapped up their investigation into a fire that destroyed an Inverness Co. home.
Members of the West Bay Rd. Volunteer Fire Department were called to the MacKenzie Pt. area in February.
Volunteer firefighters from Port Hastings and Louisdale also responded.
The home was fully engulfed when they arrived.
No one was home at the time; the owners of the house were out of the country.
RCMP took control of the investigation; they say it’s finished and they’ve decided not to lay charges.
