The Pirates (24-2-1), winners of seven straight and 19 of their last 20, lead the six-team Sid Rowe Division- and the entire league- with 49 points, nine points up on the second-place Miners for the division lead, and three points ahead of East Hants for first overall; they clinched top spot in the division with the win.
The Pirates have won three of the first four games in the four-game season series; the teams finish off their home-and-home series when they meet in Membertou Wednesday night.
