Nova Scotia Liberal Leader Zach Churchill is visiting the Port Hawkesbury area.
As part of the visit, Churchill will be doing a tour of the local paper mill, a business that he considers to be a big employer for the region and an important part of the provincial economy.
He also plans to speak with doctors and healthcare workers on Cape Breton Island during his visit to gain a better understanding of issues faced by emergency rooms. Churchill also hopes to get advice from these workers on how the official opposition can address the healthcare crisis.
Churchill wants to highlight the importance of healthcare staffing, saying healthcare can’t be provided unless we have the workers to do it.
