NSP contractor killed on job site

Officials with the province’s labour department are investigating a workplace fatality involving a Nova Scotia Power contract worker.

It happened in Sheet Harbour Friday afternoon.

Mark Sidebottom, the utility’s chief operating officer, says the contractor was doing surveying work at the Marshall Falls reservoir.

Sidebottom says they’re cooperating with the investigation by provincial labour officials.
