It is with great sadness that we the family of Gregory Thomas Hadley announce his passing on Monday, August 3, 2026 at home.

Greg was born in Sydney, NS on October 22, 1975, a son of Thomas and Lorraine (Skinner) Hadley of Mulgrave.

Greg worked as a construction insulator, working in the Maritime Provinces and Western Canada. He was a member of Local 131 Heat and Frost Insulators Union and Local 116 Heat and Frost Insulators Union

Besides his parents, Greg is survived by his sister, Crystal (Shane) nephews, Parker and Lucas Brennan; Greg’s children, Victoria, Elizabeth and Thomas; his grandson, Jayce. The mother of his children, Melissa Hadley. Greg is survived, by his sisters-in-law, Joanne Munroe, Christine Paupst, and brother-in-law, Joe Munroe. Also survived by Cathy Munroe.

He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Harry and Hortense Hadley, and his maternal grandparents, Charles and Marina Skinner. His father and mother-in-law, Dale Munroe and Carol Stevenson.

Greg loved his children dearly, especially his grandson, Jayce who was his little “Buddy,” who loved to help his Grampy.

There will be no visitation. Funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 10 in St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church, Mulgrave. Burial to follow in the Parish Cemetery. A reception will follow in the Mulgrave Fire Hall.

Memorial Donations may be made to Autism Nova Scotia – Strait Area Chapter.
