Raymond Bruno O’Toole

With much sadness, we regret to announce the peaceful passing of Raymond Bruno O’Toole of Port Hastings, on July 2, 2026.

He was a beloved son of Joseph and Marguerite (MacMillan) O’Toole. He was a kind, gentle soul who believed in good will to all. He died in the home he built for his parents after the relocation from Point Tupper. Raymond had a 35-year career with CN Rail as a brakeman and conductor and was a lobster fisherman.

He is survived by his sisters, Millie (Clifford) DeCoste and Helen O’Toole; also, numerous nieces and nephews.

Raymond was predeceased by five brothers, Francis, Leonard, Lawrence, Daniel (Paula) and Ronald; one sister, Hilda (Millard) Kinney.

Funeral Mass will be held on Friday July 10, 2026, at 10am in St. Joseph Parish, Port Hawkesbury; Rev. Joby Augustin officiating; with interment in the Parish Cemetery.
