Officials in the StFX Athletics Department have held their annual awards gala.
Daley Oddy, a forward and the captain of the X-Women hockey team, was named the university’s female student-athlete of the year; she shared the women’s hockey MVP award with Lindsey Donovan.
Daniel Hayfield, a striker from the X-Men soccer team, and Angus Rawling, a distance runner with the X-Men cross country and track and field teams, were both named StFX male student-athlete of the year.
X-Men goalie Chase Marchand earned the men’s hockey MVP award; Brad Peddle from the X-Men hockey team was named the university’s coach of the year.
