One act of kindness led to another after an anonymous donation to staff of a local business.
Loblaws Director Corporate Affairs Mark Boudreau says the manager at the Antigonish Superstore was given 10 envelopes with messages of thanks for staff working through the COVID-19 pandemic.
He says $40 was in each.
Boudreau says staff had a meeting and decided they could do some good.
He says they agreed to split the $400 between four seniors living in the community, and give them each $100 of free groceries.
