Experts on keeping youth safe online were in Antigonish Saturday.
In a release from the Advancing Women’s Equality Project, reps say the Safety Net Team’s Rachel Gibson, and HeartWood’s Brian Braganza facilitated information sessions and discussions about how to safely navigate online spaces.
It says they started with separate discussions between students and between parents, then brought the groups together for a final discussion.
Reps say sessions for younger students, in grades 6 to 9, were held in the morning and sessions for older students were held in the afternoon.
