Over $1 million in fibre-op cable destroyed in Cape Breton arson

An expensive case of arson in Cape Breton.

Police say over 1-million dollars of fibre-optic cable was destroyed in a fire on a property in Sydney over the weekend.

The Fire Marshall determined the blaze was suspicious, and gathered witness information and evidence from the scene.

A 14-year old boy was arrested on Tuesday.

He is facing a charge of arson with damage to property.
