Overnight work on Bay Street in Antigonish

The Bay Street Project continues this week with evening and overnight construction in Antigonish.

The work will be happening on East Main Street between Haley Road and Adam Street.

Traffic control will be in place from 7 p.m. until 7 a.m. beginning Sunday, May 31 until the morning of Friday, June 5.

This project was to replace water and waste lines last fall, with curbs and asphalt poured last week which disrupted traffic during daytime hours.

Town officials continue to apologize for the inconvenience and thank residents for their patience as the project wraps up.
