A local school is closing the doors for the remainder of 2021.
Paqtnkek Education Centre says the school will be closed to students until January 6th.
Staff will return to work January 4th unless otherwise notified.
That’s not the only thing Paqtnkek First Nation is doing to limit the spread of COVID-19.
Bayside Entertainment is closed, the gas station will close at 10 p.m. and Mary Brown’s is only open for pick up or drive-thru service.
