Planned power outage in parts of the Town of Antigonish

Be prepared to charge things early if you live in some areas of Antigonish as there is a planned power outage during the early hours on Friday, June 5.

The Town says their electric utility will be cutting power on the Church Street Extension and Cunningham Road for around four hours from 1 a.m. to 5 a.m.

The following areas will be without power for around 30 minutes beginning at 1 a.m.:

• Church Street
• Antigonish Market Square
• Claymore Inn & Suites
• Sobeys
• Mariner Drive
• St. Ninian Street (from Church Street to the Legion)
• Kirk Building

This planned outage is weather dependent.

The Town apologies for any inconveniences this work causes.
