The fourth of six shows in the 2019 Granville Green summer concert series is Sunday night.
It’s the 25th year for the free outdoor concert series.
The Joel Plaskett Emergency takes the stage; Beech Hill is the opening act.
Paula Davis, the Town of Port Hawkesbury’s marketing director, tells The Hawk Plaskett is always a fan favourite.
“When we did the reach out on Facebook about who’s your favourite and who’d you like to see come back, Joel Plaskett was a steady, special person that people wanted to see,” she says. “We’re absolutely delighted to have him come back and help us celebrate our 25th year.”
The show gets underway at 7 p.m.
Wintersleep started the season July 7; Ria Mae and Matt Mays have already performed.
Tim Baker is Aug. 4; the East Pointers wrap up the concert series Aug. 11.
