Police are investigating after catalytic converters were stolen out of six vehicles at a Richmond Co. scrapyard.

RCMP say the thefts happened between Monday and Tuesday of last week at a Black River Rd. business in Grande Anse.

They say the catalytic converters were cut from the vehicles, and officers found a saw blade at the scene.

Anyone with information is being asked to call Richmond County District RCMP at 902-535-2002 or Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), or www.crimestoppers.ns.ca.
